Six Nugget Treat Box

Here’s a great way to present some sweets to family or friend anytime of the year, but with Halloween just around the corner, who can resist these adorable treat boxes?

Here’s a closeup below of one treat box –

Isn’t it cute? I made this designed with Halloween in mind, but it can be done any time of the year…. for example, here’s one that could be used as a “Thinking of You”, birthday, or Mother’s Day –

The next picture shows what the box looks liked opened with six Hershey’s nuggets inside (I didn’t decorate my nuggets yet because I wanted you to see easily how they fit in the box). You could cut 1 x 3 inch strips of patterned paper and wrap around each nugget with a mini glue dot holding the wrapping together. Another quick idea is to take an Avery label sheet filled with 1 x 3 inch white labels and stamp it beforehand, then simply wrap each nugget with a label… how simple and cute is that?

To download the template below, you will need Adobe PDF on your computer. If you don’t have this application yet, you can download it free get adobe reader

When you're ready to print the template,

make sure  your page scaling is set to

"none" and you are printing at 100% size.

The template is sized so that you can make two treat boxes from one 8 ˝ x 11 inch piece of cardstock. The picture represents an 8 ˝ x 11 inch sheet of cardstock. On it are two template diagrams to show you how to orient the template. Please note that this picture shows the template slightly smaller than how it will be when you print it out. I did it this way to show you template orientation only. The template is sized to fit exactly on ˝ of an 8x11 inch sheet of cardstock, so in real life, the two vertical solid lines directly below the asterick will be “touching” one another.

The directions for assembly are written on the template so that you can have it ready to use at any time. I hope you enjoy making these little treat boxes on your own. They are easy to make and so much fun to give out to those special people that deserve a little extra treat!!!
